I read the paper. It's a very elaborate and wordy way of saying "Yeah this QAnon shit is a cult". On the other hand, it's a very detailed introduction and tour of Voat, with many of the site rules and stuff described in detail. His cited sources are pretty shitty in my opinion, but I think social sciences in general are pretty shit so YMMV. The guy drops some redpill content in there without too much denouncing. Also the figure 8 plots on page 11 are very interesting. Compare how "severely toxic" this site is with how "inflammatory" it is. I bet those results would be drastically different on sites like Poal or reddit or whatever.
Boy oh boy. A lot has happened, but the most important events are: I got married and I also became a father. My son is 10 months old and is already trying to walk. He recently started sleeping through the night so I can now get some sleep as well. Days are now flying by so much faster.
