Dan Harmond and Justin Roiland

Harmon link to TCN.....

We heard directly from Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim with their official response on the matter:

“At Adult Swim, we seek out and encourage creative freedom and look to push the envelope in many ways, particularly around comedy. The offensive content of Dan’s 2009 video that recently surfaced demonstrates poor judgement and does not reflect the type of content we seek out. Dan recognized his mistake at the time and has apologized. He understands there is no place for this type of content here at Adult Swim.”

Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network (abbreviated as CN since 2004) is an American pay television channel. Part of the Turner Broadcasting System subsidiary of WarnerMedia, the channel was founded on October 1, 1992

On August 4, 1986, Ted Turner's Turner Broadcasting System acquired Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer/United Artists from Kirk Kerkorian; due to concerns over the debt load of his companies, on October 17, 1986, Turner was forced to sell MGM back to Kerkorian after approximately only 75 days of ownership.

In 1991, Turner Entertainment purchased animation studio Hanna-Barbera Productions for US $320 million.[5] On February 18, 1992, Turner Broadcasting System announced its plans to launch the Cartoon Network as an outlet for Turner's considerable library of animation

In 1996, Turner Broadcasting System merged with Time Warner[20] (ironically, Time Warner's predecessor Warner Communications had created rival Nickelodeon, now owned by Viacom, in 1977).

On March 18, 2012, Cartoon Network aired its first documentary, Speak Up, an anti-bullying campaign featuring a special appearance by President Barack Obama.

The Comedy Store

The Comedy Store is a comedy club located in West Hollywood, California, at 8433 Sunset Boulevard on the Sunset Strip. It has a sister comedy club in La Jolla, San Diego, California

Comedy Central

On November 15, 1989, Time Warner, owners of HBO launched The Comedy Channel as the first cable channel devoted exclusively to comedy-based programming. On April 1, 1990, Viacom (who owned MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon) launched a rival channel called Ha![5] that featured reruns of situation comedies and some original sketch comedy.

Comedy Central has been a frequent target of criticism from the conservative group Parents Television Council, criticizing their programming for what they perceive as bigotry and blasphemy,[57][58] especially in regards to the programs South Park, The Sarah Silverman Program, Halfway Home, and the annual "Roast" special.

some of you can recall what was said at some of these " Roasts"
