Makes me hopeful for humanity and then I click something else and I despair.

I don't like the sexual culture, which is base, insensitive and unenlightened. I don't like the objectification of people unbeknownst to them. I'm curious how things have reached this point. I am all for black humour but some of the humour I see is without real wit and to me, is disgusting. That's just like, my opinion though.

What I like to see on Voat, is the sharing of great ideas... Also people's dedication to things and commendable humanity. This is a uniting force which resonates with people, regardless of political affiliation.

Positive and Negative freedom comes to mind. How to be truly fulfilled. I happen to think, cultivation of the higher aspects of self, are the most satisfying and believe this to be true for all people, given the opportunity. It is with this in mind, we as a civilisation must think of ourselves as one composition, the stars, the moons, the earth and ourselves as individuals, are all part of one musical piece and it is with that profundity in mind we must cultivate our lives.
