Surrender or at least they wanted them to "stop" the war they instigated. They found that a band a hardy farmers with no military training, who were vastly outnumbered by organised forces from round the world were tougher than anticipated. The sums of money offered were insane, it would still have been a shitload of money by today's standards. There's a great Boer quote somewhere and I'm quoting from memory but it was something along the lines of "we are not fighting for material possessions, we are fighting for freedom". When the Boers persevered, the (((Brits))) rounded up the women and children who had been left tending the farms and shoved them into concentration camps. Young Boer boys 12, 13, 14 years old were shipped off to St Helena and other places. It's a fucking travesty and of course, you hear nothing about it - no movies churned out by (((Hollywood))) every 2 minutes about what they did to my people. No 3rd, 4th, 5th generation survivors crying for gibs, no genetically inherited trauma. That only applies to kikes.

Very interesting! It's fascinating to hear your SA tales here. I always like to learn about world history and politics, and especially those stories that deal with White people's history. As you say, there's a 'shut it down' agenda about the history of the Boer people. Perhaps someday I'll dig into that book.

Thanks for your interest @TFS. The best English language book on the Boer war is Thomas Packenham's tome, The Boer War. It's incredibly well researched and very thoroughly source referenced. Also touches on the jewish influence. It was my late mother's book and I'm so glad I still have it. If you read between the lines, it seems Cecil Rhodes was probably a pederast or at least a homo.
