Help! Looking for sources for or against Japanese war crimes during WWII

Anyone with internet access can find out Germany committed not only fewer war crimes than they are accused of but fewer than the "righteous" allies, however I'm having a tougher time doing so about Japanese war crimes. I believe this is because I don't speak Japanese and because I'm American so there is more of a stigma against WWII Japan than there is Germany amongst Americans interested in history (bolsheviks and zionists crying about Nazis aren't really interested in history). So if anyone has info and sources that can give us a better understanding of WWII Japan I'd appreciate it. I'll give some information that I know.
FDR gave an ultimatum known as the Hull note to Japan thus causing Pearl Harbor, without it Japan would not have attacked.

Many Asians supported the Japanese, just as Europeans supported the Germans. In areas not in an active war zone the Japanese improved quality of life.

You can basically look up any southern Asian country during WWII Japanese administration and you'll get "it was good" in gay western historian speak. I don't have an all encompassing source for it and I don't feel like linking pozed sources repeatedly.
The Japanese had propaganda similar to the Germans showing brotherhood, except this time amongst Asians.

Supposedly Japan offered aid to Bengal during it's famine but the British refused to let that happen, can't find a source though.
Truman nuked Japan, including Nagasaki it's most Christian city, after it surrendered and against the advice of his generals.

Memoranda for the President: Japanese Feelers - CIA
Robert Taft condemned Japanese-American internment camps during WW2, and the Nuremberg trials after.
I'd be interested in sources on Japanese treatment of Chinese and Phillipino civilians and American POWs. The former I'm guessing is exaggerated and the latter was unfortunate but expected for soldiers. That said sources proving me right or wrong are welcome.
