For example, without the benefit of listening to police calls in your local area (which I do through a police scanner app sometimes—- traffic stops, burglar alarms at businesses, suicide attempts, 50+ People congregating at apartment complexes, apartment neighbors screaming and pounding on walls, etc,.—-and as interesting as some of the calls are), how do you know what crimes are happening near you or in your community?
In our area, the newspaper reports general crimes each week...lots of people outside our community committing crimes inside our community...

My example question is...
How do you know what police calls are happening around you?
Where do you go to find out crimes in your area?
Maybe the “whatever” sub is a alternative, there are serious questions other than the obvious brainless ones....

Ah, gotcha. You can request a sub in the Admin section in the Subs & Mods (or is it Mods & Subs) Thread. Searchvoat is very responsive and created several subs I requested.
