I voted to add a comment to my original choice which was "Yes - but only for nudity & gore; "offensive" speech should be visible to everyone"
I'm modifying my position to include loli porn speech, child rape fantasy speech (yes the pedo minded fappers on voat had their little shithole subs where they could fantasize together), one voat pedo fan would write reams of pedo fantasy stories. That crap, if allowed here at all (which I'm fine if it's just banned outright), should not be shown to anyone just visiting the site.

I'm ok w what you chose. While it might not be my preference, this site is very small and resources limited. I don't really mind going submarine and having that stuff only visible to us. Id just let it all hang out if it were my preference, but I can see why @SearchVoat has chosen as he has. He's got to deal w the choice.

What you see here, is potentially the rebirth of VOAT!

In short, DON'T piss all over another mans efforts! @SearchVoat made his pitch, he opened the door for feedback, and HE, will do what makes sense for this project based on the feedback received, versus what has to be done operationally and logistically!

Not OP, but problem with admit is that he is pissing with our efforts to make this place semi decent. When VOAT went down we had many alternatives some even created subs for us. We chose least popular with only few members.
Original hiddenlol.com hold posts only for 7 days and then is all gone with all comments. Don't question our commitment to this place just go and copy-paste links from dailycaller to your news sub.

THIS is the Admin teams baby. They (@SearchVoat) in particular stepped up to the plate and gave us an option to continue as a community. At least @SearchVoat has solicited our opinion on matters that are of interest to us, unlike those jack-offs at POAL. Are you going to tell Apple, Google, or Samsung how to do their job too? "I don't like the color of this icon, you have to change it". This forum is being grown organically! It will go through many changes and iterations. Give it some time! Don't like the subs, miss an original sub, ASK @SearchVoat, he seems to be pretty accommodating with sub requests! NOW, on to the subject of "Niggers" and "Jews"! I'm sure this will not make me many friends here, and will turn me into an outcast, but I don't carry a grudge against either! I size up people individually, not by the color of their skin or the head covering that they wear. There are many black folks out there that I'd sit down and have a beer with, I've not found a lot of Jews that I would spend a great deal of time with, as the few Jews I've met were absolute pains in the ass! BUT, I don't hold all Jews to the same standard based on the few pains in the asses that I've met in my travels!

1) You are NEVER going to appease those that take "offense". You cannot be a "free speech" platform and then think you can hide your way out of it. You're just becoming Reddit-lite.

2) That said, I WOULD like a tag for nudity or shock images. I think common sense dictates that users browsing the forum shouldn't have to be confronted with somebody's gaping asshole. BUT such tags should just put up a filter that is easily clickable to hide/unhide that image. You shouldn't have to register, there should be no restrictions on linking, etc. Just a siimple notice that the image has been hidden as NSFW with a toggle button.

I don't see why or how the NSFW tag is a bad thing. If anything, it will protect people because I don't want to see some voater lose their job because they read a bunch of nigger jokes.
