Speaking of spam accounts, do you care at all about mass downvoting by vindictive users? TheWholeTruth went through all my posts and downvoted them. I returned the favor (not that there were that many to downvote, as he had a new account). Now there's a new account "TallestPill", who just joined and went through all my posts and downvoted them. Now I don't particularly care too much about Internet points, and it's more a nuisance than anything, but if the functionality is there I'd rather not allow it to be abused in such obvious fashion. One account should not be allowed to crater somebody's reputation. And using alts to downvote shouldn't be allowed either (which, I suspect, is the reason TheWholeTruth got caught up).

To be honest, not much. Currently SCP/CCP here are just numbers and don't have any effect on functionality. I have a feeling that strategies to limit vindictive downvoting are a whack-a-mole work drain. Better to just recognise that people who do it are sad losers and let them get on with it, if they want. At least here you can see who's doing it.

Hmm thinking now it might be interesting to show a "who upvoted/downvoted me" summary on the user profile page...

So if I wanted to counter this, I should have a "friend" who just happens to share the same IP address as me and upvote all my posts? You know, I think you should at least make them put some effort if they want to game the system. Common sense limits. There is no perfect system, but you can at let it be known that it's not acceptable and stop the most obvious abuses.

Just be glad you're not banned for using alts and then calling the site owner a faggot because he banned one of your downvoting alts. @SearchVoat might feel differently if he logged in and had 200+ notifications of downvotes by a single account.
