I think that now may actually be a software bug on this forum because I had the same issue

I sent forum passwords to recent posters on Voat. Those usernames are pre-allocated on the forum. If you tried to create an account here with your Voat username and it said "already exists" there should be a password in your Voat Inbox. Let me know if not.

Ahhh. So since I changed from steelerfish to the more appropriate stillerfish I didn’t need the password.... little too much eggnog. I’ll take and stash my old name with the password.

I think I missed the fucking boat on this. Didn't realise until about an hour ago, now can't access my inbox, can't even fucking remember the email I used for my original account, so can't seem to use my original user name.
Is there anyone to contact to try to get it back?
