Feigning being handcuffed to score some political 'protest' gravitas is not prosecutable, unlike resisting arrest which will result in being handcuffed. Pretty sure AOC promised the cop an autographed copy of Saul Alinsky's book if he played along with the ruse. /s

Of those who were arrested, it's a huge nothing burger.

The initial group of lawmakers and activists were released from custody at approximately 2:30, Jennifer Shutt with the States Newsroom reported, adding that Dean said they were charged with “crowding, obstructing or incommoding and need to pay a $50 fine.”
