A short summary of SearchVoat's stats.

I have managed to parse some of SVF's data. Here is a short summary of SVF's stats, grouped by month. The data for this month is incomplete. For info on SVF's shutdown announcement, see this link (https://web.archive.org/web/20220522041 ... =24&t=8395 ).

List of attributes to the stats

SUBMISSION-COUNT: number of submissions
COMMENT-COUNT: number of comments
VERSE-COUNT: number of active subverses
VERSE-ITEM: number of items found in subverses, sorted by [percentage]/[subverse]
USER-COUNT: number of active users
USER-ITEM: number of items contributed by users, sorted by [percentage]/[username]
SUBMITTER-COUNT: number of active submitters
SUBMITTER-ITEM: number of submissions contributed by users, sorted by [percentage]/[username]
SUBMISSION-SCORE: score from submissions
COMMENT-SCORE: score from comments

As you can see from the SUBMITTER-ITEM section, SVF is a very small community. Most submissions are contributed by 7 users or so. We only have about 17 monthly submitters (SUBMITTER-COUNT), with 32 active subverses (VERSE-COUNT). When Voat.co was shut down, there were 200 active users (USER-COUNT) on this forum. Most of Voat's userbase did not make it here. For those who did, many left shortly thereafter, probably due to the format of forum.

I hope you get something out of this report. Both Voat and SearchVoat will always hold a very special place in my heart and in spirit. For those who have stuck around and are still here, I am sure they are more special to you all.

I am guessing that this place still holds Voat's old data, easily searchable and sharable to other platforms. People may not be active on SVF or reference this place, but old Goats sure know where to find sources on SVA. And my number two guess is, you guys need to stop making "troubles" for other platforms

I am guessing that this place still holds Voat's old data, easily searchable and sharable to other platforms. People may not be active on SVF or reference this place, but old Goats sure know where to find sources on SVA. And my number two guess is, you guys need to stop making "troubles" for other platforms

As you can see from the SUBMITTER-ITEM section, SVF is a very small community. Most submissions are contributed by 7 users or so.

I recall there was the original VOAT filtration system...

I guess the remaining active community is a result of some strange additional distillation process

I hope you get something out of this report. Both Voat and SearchVoat will always hold a very special place in my heart and in spirit. For those who have stuck around and are still here, I am sure they are more special to you all.

I have been accused of being a voat puritan. I was flattered. Any time I am at a farm and see goats, I think of this place. Any time I see them butting heads, I am reminded of the @TexasVet days. It's really kind of shaped my real life personality in how I handle arguments. I can feel mein eyes begin to glow as I start to spit facts.
