What's everyone using. Just judging by the number of upvoats each site has on its top page, they are all tiny compared to Voat.

I like it here but a bb forum doesn't allow me to scan the news as fast as an aggregator or a chan.

There's an RSS feed setup, top right. Not sure entirely what you're after.

The forum is reliant upon users to post topics, etc. The RSS I believe just slurps stories. I should check that out to know, but I do know the former is true lol.

An RSS will only show information that I'm subscribed to, sometimes you don't know that you want to read about something until you see it.

Gotcha, sure I get that. Hmm...I guess I don't have any solutions just at the moment, kind of foggy and got off work a few hours ago.

I hate to be THAT guy, but maybe you could be the 'change you wish to see' ? The whole thing is kind of foreign to me so I'm at a loss for real ideas m8.

An RSS will only show information that I'm subscribed to, sometimes you don't know that you want to read about something until you see it.

When you go to RRS above hand hand corner, you will find you may decide for yourself what to subscribe too. The issue with just one feed in total is that any post on all topics is being pushed through to you.

One option would be to setup several feeds for one or a cluster of related subs you are interested in. Check my post on the RSS feed.

I don't know what SearchVoat (the person) has in mind for VOAT going forward, but you gotta hand it to him for stepping up to the plate and putting this together as quickly as he did. Whatever anyone thinks about this site, remember, it is a lifeline for VOAT. I went out to POAL and RUQQUS, I deep-sixed my POAL account within a matter of days. For whatever flaws or quirks that we think exists with this forum, it's HOME! It's the digital CHEERS, you know, "Where everybody knows your name" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rS0VQOHX7lM, where you can call someone a "FAGGOT" in one post, and 15 minuets later discuss what an ass Dr. Fauchi is in another post. This place is like that old ball glove, or the pair of jeans that you just keep holding on to that should have been thrown away ten years ago. This place is a barn find, like a car that was a classic in it's day, that sat around unnoticed and outlived the the junk that was manufactured and sold after it. It's what every collector spends his entire life looking for.

I have high hopes for this effort of SearchVoat, I do hope that some of the venerable old sons-a-bitches come back to support VOAT again!
