The Billiken Company of Chicago

Post by MercurysBall2 »

I started looking into Jimmy Kimmel because of this post viewtopic.php?f=16&p=10197#p10197
Maggie Famiglietti aka _magadeth > Christian Pillsbury > ART OF THE HEIST: Virtual Benefit + Jimmy Kimmel
Voat post re Kimmel: SenateAnon anniversary thread https://searchvoat.co/v/pizzagate/4016450
September 11th is the anniversary of SenateAnon who singled out the Shriners for running sex blackmail rings through a secret society within the Shriners known as the Royal Order of Jesters (ROJ) and the Sovereign Order of Brothers in Blood (SOBIB), another secret society whose members are recruited from within the ROJ. Jesters have taken trips to Brazil to have sex with underage prostitutes...

SenateAnon specifically singled out the Biliken Property Management Group building at Adams Morgan in Washington D.C. that housed a restaurant called Perry's which was known to have blackmailed the executive editor of the Washington Post, Leonard Downie, with a lapdance from a tranny. Every Sunday Perry's hosts a transgender brunch (note the hearts-within-hearts symbol) where activity like this occurs...

Here is an incredibly informative post I found from two years ago detailing how the House of Furstenberg of Germany and the House of Colonna of Rome control the Jesters and the comedy circuit through Jester blackmail:

Sarah Silverman is an Evil Witch, and Jimmy Kimmel is her Whiny Bitch.

The Comedy circuit is also controlled, particularly for anyone on television or in movies like Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer.
There was a misspelling in that post it's actually the Billiken Corp. https://abra.dc.gov/sites/default/files ... .20.16.pdf

The Bizarre History of the Billiken https://mondomascots.com/index.php/2017 ... -billiken/
In 1908 a mysterious rotund figure appeared to Missouri art teacher, Florence Pretz, in a dream. She drew the character and named it the Billiken. Apparently the name comes from the 1896 poem, “Mr. Moon: A Song of the Little People” by the Canadian poet, Bliss Carman. Pretz patented the design (the first ever patented god) and sold it to The Billiken Company of Chicago.

'41st most powerful person in Washington', a chef advised Hannibal producers on how to portray cannibalism in TV show. https://searchvoat.co/v/pizzagate/1435339
"Even if, ultimately, Hannibal is cooking human flesh, a lot of people say that when they see the food sequences, they wish they were at the table," says Jose Andres, one of many L.A. culinary stars satisfying Hollywood's need for onscreen authenticity This story first appeared in the Oct. 3 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine.

"Hannibal loves his food; he doesn't eat the way a cannibal eats. This I understand," says Jose Andres, chef and owner of The Bazaar at the SLS Beverly Hills and Miami, along with restaurants Jaleo and China Poblano in Las Vegas, as well as the Minibar empire in Washington, D.C. "I have a lot of ideas of how Hannibal would be inspired to cook something. The way he cooks is clean. He is stylish, the way he sautes."

Let's check out who liked that Egger post on Saied Azali's FB page.. there's a familiar name.. Furstenberg
Image
https://sansalvador.ilea.state.gov/leadership
Mr. Philippe Furstenberg:
Director of the San Salvador International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) by the Government of the United States of America.
Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Special Agent.
2000 article:

Former Restaurateur Finds Security Recipe for Success https://1997-2001.state.gov/publication ... ture3.html
Special agent Philippe Furstenberg, right, with former Department spokesman James P. Rubin at Camp Monteith in southeastern Kosovo.
Image
If first impressions are lasting, Philippe G. Furstenberg is off to an Olympic start.

This Montgomery County, Md., native has already logged thousands of miles as a budding diplomatic security agent, visiting Paris, Oslo, Florence, Moscow and Buenos Aires on various security details. He's escorted U.S. diplomats into Serbian territory during a six-week tour in Kosovo and pulled a security detail at the United Nations.

Not bad for a 26-year-old with less than two years on the payroll.

Oddly, it's not the kind of work Mr. Furstenberg had in mind after earning his degree in international relations at Georgetown University in 1996. He first tried launching a career with a restaurant chain in North Carolina, but that didn't last long. Mr. Furstenberg said he worked with people "who did not care about what they were doing." Unlike his apathetic colleagues, the young start-up craved new opportunities and an environment that inspires and attracts motivated people.

That's when he looked to the State Department.

He saw the Diplomatic Security Service as a way to combine his desire to help others with his interest and university background in foreign affairs.

Mr. Furstenberg seems to have found his niche.

In 1999, he spent six months learning the basics of diplomatic security at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Ga. The course is the first of many training programs diplomatic security agents take throughout their careers. It offers instruction in basic and advanced law enforcement as well as investigative skills, from academics to physical training to firearms proficiency.

And Mr. Furstenberg mastered them all.
Honor graduate Philippe Furstenberg receives his Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol as the year's top graduate at the Criminal Investigator Training Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Ga.
Image
Not only did he graduate at the top of his class, he was the center's honor graduate of the year. His award: a prized Smith & Wesson Model 908 semiautomatic pistol presented in a hardwood case.

Mr. Furstenberg's future is bright. "He will most certainly excel in his endeavors," remarked David Haas, director of the Diplomatic Security Training Center in Dunn Loring, Va.

Traditionally, Diplomatic Security agents begin their careers with stateside assignment to build up experience before taking a position overseas. Knowing that, Mr. Furstenberg set his sights on the Diplomatic Security field office in Boston even before graduating. The hub of New England's international commerce and traffic, he reasoned, would give him valuable experience he wouldn't find in other locations. "I wanted an office that did more than just protection," he said...

When he's not jetting around the world, he's investigating passport applications, trying to uncover fraud and false identities. He works with other federal agencies to investigate alien smuggling, drug trafficking and identification forgeries. He also coordinates special functions with other foreign consulates.

For example, he recently coordinated with security and other emergency staff when the French government recognized America's World War II veterans during a Boston harbor ceremony on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy.

"I worked with the local police, federal marshals and medical personnel," Mr. Furstenberg said.

But before we go down the rabbithole I was planning on following.. I just found this little gem:

Perry’s restaurant shifts from West to East https://archive.is/twSJ2
No more crab cakes or roast chicken at Perry’s. Over the weekend, the Adams Morgan restaurant with the popular rooftop quietly changed its allegiance from America to Japan.

“We’re going back to where we started,” says owner Saied Azali. Veteran food observers might recall that Perry’s was born as an izakaya in 1984; in the early 1990s, as interest in fusion food developed, the second-floor dining room morphed into more of a Western destination.

...The restaurateur has been interested in returning Perry's to its roots for years. Holding him back was a lack of talent. Now, he’s got it: His new staff includes head chef Hironobu Higashijima, whose credits include Makoto and Kushi in Washington, and sushi chef Tetsuya Nakata, formerly of Raku in Bethesda. Both men also worked at the late Hisago in Georgetown. Their menu features crab spring rolls, skewered grill meats, rice bowls, tempura and noodle dishes.

The restaurant’s name stays. Perry’s, after all, refers to Matthew C. Perry (1794-1858), the U.S. Navy officer credited with opening Japan to the larger world. (Little-known fact: Before Azali shifted gears, Carole Greenwood, the original chef at Buck’s Fishing & Camping, helmed the Perry’s kitchen for several months this spring.)

From the website:

Perrys restaurant, located in the heart of colorful Adam's Morgan, was established in 1984. This trendy neighborhood, was then up and coming and Perrys was one of the first restaurants to create a niche for itself there. Since 1984 upon its inception, Perrys experimented with a then unique concept: "The New Wave Sushi Bar."

https://www.washingtonian.com/2010/04/3 ... n-food-54/
2010:

Comet Ping Pong has been doling out free sodas for the past month—owner James Alefantis forgot to renew his liquor license for the Northwest DC pizza joint by March 31. In reporting that the booze is back, Tim Carman of the Washington City Paper found out that Comet is without a chef—again. The talented Carole Greenwood left last summer, and Laura Bonino stepped in. Turns out, she wanted to focus all her attention on her Griffin Market in Georgetown, and now Alefantis has taken the creative reigns in the kitchen...

Veteran baker Mark Furstenberg, who opened G Street Food, Marvelous Market, and Breadline, is putting his culinary touch on Perry's in DC's Adams Morgan. After creating the restaurant's Valentine's Day menu, he turned his focus to the regular menu, and in May, diners will see his pastas, satays, and fish tacos. Tom Sietsema of the Washington Post reports that chef Robert Dahlia, a Buck's Fishing & Camping alum, will take over in June, when Furstenberg can continue working on his own business plans. Perry's owner, Saied Azali, also signed a lease for the market space below his restaurant and will use it for an American bistro.
Bread Furst’s Mark Furstenberg wins James Beard Award https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ ... clnk&gl=ch
The James Beard Foundation handed out its annual awards for restaurants and chefs Monday night in Chicago, and one local took home his first prize after multiple past nominations: Mark Furstenberg of Bread Furst was named Outstanding Baker.

...Furstenberg celebrated his award on Monday night with his sons, Francois and Philippe, as well as restaurateurs Saied Azali (Perry's, Mintwood Place, Convivial) and Ashok Bajaj (Rasika, Bindaas, Oval Room, others), who all flew into Chicago for the ceremony. The baker doesn't expect the award to change his life much, although it may attract more customers to his bakery and help him find a publisher for a book he's writing...

But does the award provide further evidence that Washington has become a great food city, a title that Furstenberg refuted in a 2013 take down for The Washington Post Magazine?

“I talk about this frequently,” Furstenberg said. “I think we have a really good restaurant city now, with a vibrant independent restaurant community. We’ve made a little bit of progress on the retail food scene with Glen’s Garden Market and Each Peach and others that I’m probably not thinking about, but not enough.”

President Obama dines out; Washington chefs speak out https://thehill.com/video/campaign/2625 ... -speak-out
For the president, dining out isn't always just about the cuisine and ambiance. Obama has also used Washington-area restaurants as backdrops for official White House events and campaign stops. As Obama's first four years in the Oval Office come to a close and the next term remains to be decided, The Hill took a look at some of the restaurants that have received a presidential seal of approval.

One of the first couple's recent stops was to Mintwood Place in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The site was chosen to host "Dinner With Barack," a campaign event in which supporters got the chance to sit down for a meal and share their stories with the Obamas.

Mintwood Place's managing partner, Saied Azali, began to tear up while talking about the president's August visit....

Ben's Chili Bowl got a visit from then-President-elect Obama 10 days before inauguration.

The president's outings have helped fuel the city's transition into a "foodie town," said part-owner Nizam B. Ali, whose family has operated the U Street NW fixture since 1958...

Across town, Kenny's BBQ Smokehouse, a lesser-known Capitol Hill joint, got a very welcome surprise when Obama showed up with little notice for a Father's Day lunch event in June...

Another restaurant choice influenced by the first lady was Restaurant Nora, known for its organic menu. Nora Pouillon has been serving guests, including past presidents and current White House officials, at her Dupont Circle establishment since 1979
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nora_Pouillon
Nora Pouillon (born October 26, 1943) is an Austrian chef, restaurateur, and author. She was the owner of Restaurant Nora in Washington, D.C., famous for its status as America's first certified organic restaurant..

Pouillon was born in Vienna, Austria during World War II. Pouillon's family was affluent and owned a safety glass window factory. They were able to flee Vienna in the last years of the war. ..n the 1960s, Pouillon moved to the United States with her husband, a French journalist.

In 1979, Restaurant Nora opened its doors on the corner of Florida Avenue and 21st in Washington, D.C.’s DuPont Circle neighborhood.[5] Journalist Sally Quinn and her late husband, Washington Post executive editor, Ben Bradlee were early patrons and financial backers of Restaurant Nora...The early patronage and support of Bradlee and Quinn gained Restaurant Nora a loyal following, and by the early 1990s it was a destination for D.C's media and political elite.[7] President Bill Clinton held his first inaugural party at the restaurant.[8] Jimmy Carter was the first president to eat at Nora's, and it was a favorite of Hillary Clinton; Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have dined there, as has Nancy Reagan.

In 1993, Pouillon joined with chefs John Ash, Rick Bayless, Susan Feniger, Nobu Matsuhisa, Michel Romano, and Alice Waters to found Chefs Collaborative, an organization dedicated to sustainable food practices.[14] Pouillon is a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier, a society of professional women involved in the food, wine, and hospitality industries..

Pouillon sits on the board of directors for the Ocean Foundation,[17] the Amazon Conservation Team,[18] the Earth Day Network,[19] and the DC Environmental Film Festival.
Voat posts re Bradlee:

Tom Hanks, the CORONA-Smith typewriter and the film "The Post" https://searchvoat.co/v/pizzagatewhatever/3715547
This is the third Hanks film where we find Corona references...apparently Corona typewriters featured in the film that he did with Steven Spielberg directing "The Post"...

It should be no surprise that when it comes to interviews, Tom Hanks prefers to type. His new book, “Uncommon Type: Stories,” which will bring him to McCaw Hall on Dec. 6, is a collection of stories in which a typewriter makes a cameo in every one...

Hanks, who owns more than 100 typewriters, will portray career typist Ben Bradlee, the late, great editor of The Washington Post in the upcoming film “The Post,” co-starring with Meryl Streep...

LALLY WEYMOUTH held her annual summer party last night at her house in Southampton. ..Brother Don Graham did a big tribute to toast Lally (whose birthday is tomorrow) and shouted out Steven Spielberg's upcoming film about how Ben Bradlee and Katharine Graham challenged the government for the right to publish the Pentagon Papers in 1971 (Tom Hanks is playing Bradlee and Meryl Streep is playing Graham). Don made a big deal that Spielberg was there and jokingly conceived a Spielberg movie about Lally and described the cast (some actors and some in the room).

Hi MB2. Could you fix this link, please?
AND
I saw you mention that you weren't getting notifications from a channel on YT. I've seen people mention that if you unsubscribe, then resubscribe to the channel, it fixes the problem. Until YT messes with it again. Hope this helps.
