You shouldn't be defenseless without guns. Always have contingency plans. Especially as relates to the explicitly outlined plans of your enemies.

I don't think it's a matter of defended vs. defenseless. It's about being optimally defended. Every person should have the right to decide what's optimal for them, and the opportunity/access/ability to implement those measures. For some, it'll be an AR-15. For others, it'll be a baton and a balisong except whoops, those are banned in many states. What about someone who wants to choose a suppressed P90?

It took a while for me to understand the nature of gun control, to see the common thread. But I eventually realized that every measure of this nature is intended to make sure you cannot match the government in force capability. That's the main purpose -- to make it easier to kill you.

Why ban body armor, for instance? It doesn't stop crime. It doesn't save lives, and even the most idiotic nogunz faggot knows that few (if any at all) crimes are committed with body armor involved. And yet, there's been talks of rolling in a body armor ban with other proposed restrictions.

It all makes sense only when you consider it from the angle I've presented -- the government doesn't want you optimally defended when it comes to kill you. That's the common thread.

The M4 is the standard-issue rifle for every U.S. soldier. And yet, everything about it is illegal for you and me. The government does not want you to have the standard equipment it deems as minimally necessary to fight a war.

14.5" barrel, it's an "SBR" -- increasing the mandatory length reduces your maneuverability when the government comes to kill you.

Select fire capable, so it's a "machine gun" -- limiting you to semi-only makes it harder to cover your buddy with suppressive fire when the government comes to kill you.

If, for some reason you can afford and do obtain explosives, uncucked weapons, etc., the ATF requires you to tell them exactly what you've got, how many, where you live, and who you are. How very peculiar.

It goes beyond weapons too; again, this is about the limiting your ability to create a tailored, optimal defense. Are you filthy rich and would like to get quad NVGs so you can have panoramic night vision? Sorry, you can't -- sales are to military and police only, you can have the binocular ones. Don't want you having a complete field of view when the government comes to kill you.

I had another point to make but forgot what it was. Anyhow, you get the idea.

I don't disagree coming from that angle.

The government wants everyone to play things by ear. No hard lines, no hard rules -- don't worry if something will happen, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. That's the attitude they want you to have.

In particular, the government does not want you to know what you will die for, at least not specifically. You can be willing to die for "good" or "justice" or "morality" but outside of vague concepts like that, they don't want you narrowing it down.

And that's what people need to do as soon as they're able -- figure out what they'll die for. Personally, I've got a list stored away in my head -- "Damn the consequences, if X infringes on Y, I will fight to the death. Protecting my right to Y against anything X throws at me is worth losing my life."

It's not a comfortable exercise either, most people will not do it. And then they find themselves faced with something, and they find that because they've never considered it, they'll go along with it because "oh I haven't really thought about it." The notion of "It will never happen" is irrelevant, and again, all it does is stop you from drawing those important lines ahead of time.

It helps with alliances too -- you find people with lines that match yours, you'll naturally become brothers in arms.

@splooge and @tallest_skil I have read and watched a lot of the soothsayers following the rabbit and putting the pieces together for years. Everyone wants to tell us what is coming, what to beware, how to prepare, etc. But I have yet to come across one person who offers any advice on how to fight and stop this rolling stone. I've seen some that have said just give up, you can't fight them, have fun while you can, but I don't want to believe that. I know we need to organize, but attempts at that by others in the past has just led to groups being labeled "terrorists" and infiltrated until they disband. So what can we do? I know you said find alliances Splooge, but I feel like even trying to reach others will put me on a list. I'm feeling very defeated right now.
