Paris catacombs apparently have the same use I recently saw in a documentary. Satanists and the like thrive in dark caves.

I made a post some time ago about secret passageways found in DC by realtors https://www.voat.co/v/pizzagate/2919878

They definitely exist and most of DC seems to be aware of them, or at least the stories about them. Their original use doesn't matter all that much, all that matters is if they are still open, or could be opened, which I'm sure they could be. All manner of things could be making their way through them every single day and nobody would know anything about it.

Previous v/pizzagate post: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1450735

Of note from this link:

In places Dyar had sculpted the heads of animals and humans. One arch was inscribed with a bit of Latin: Facilis Descensus Averno. From Virgil, it means: “The way down to the lower world is easy.”

Another previous v/pizzagate post: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1690838

Note Dyar's Smithsonian connection, interesting because the Hotel Palomar (site of the former Pelham Courts Apts. where the truck fell through to the tunnel) partners with the Smithsonian to create an ill-defined thing they call **"Art in Motion"** at their hotels in DC and other hub cities like Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Phoenix.

The hotel was sold two weeks ago

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB) has sold the Hotel Palomar Washington, D.C., for $141.5 million, continuing the company’s selloff of its Greater Washington assets.

The sale of the 335-room Kimpton-managed hotel closed Friday [February 22, 2019], per a release. A buyer is not named, and the deal had not shown up in the Recorder of Deeds as of 9 a.m. Monday [Feb. 25]. Hotel Palomar is located at 2121 P St. NW.

Note that when Dyar moved from 21st Street to 804 B Street SW (renamed Independence Ave.), he again dug multi-level tunnels under the property. Those tunnels would now be located under the Federal Aviation Administration, which occupies the entire 800 block of Independence Avenue: https://imgoat.com/uploads/eabe3a1649/205222.png

Kids (perhaps some of Dyar's five offspring?) in a tunnel at 1510 21st St. from the Steemit article:

Interesting data point of no known relevance: Dyar and king of pedos Alfred Kinsey were both entomologists, Dyar specializing in moths and butterflies and Kinsey in gall wasps

Damn FF2 - These are some pretty insane connections.

Factfinder2 ago

Yeah. Interesting that Pebblebrook Hotel Trust is selling off its Greater Washington assets. If they're involved in DC area pizzagate, could be they're scurrying for the exits as the sealed indictments pile up.

Blacksmith21 ago

Pebblebrook is a REIT, with a full portfolio of properties: http://www.pebblebrookhotels.com/portfolio-map/

I'd be surprised if they were dumping one hotel for that reason. Unless they are rushing to demolish the building...

Factfinder2 ago

They're apparently dumping multiple (all?) Washington area hotels:

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB) has sold the Hotel Palomar Washington, D.C., for $141.5 million, continuing the company’s selloff of its Greater Washington assets.

Blacksmith21 ago

Shit. Maybe time to dig in on the properties. I wonder if they are all located on the major suspected tunnel lines?

Factfinder2 ago

Great question.

That was an element of Silence of the Lambs was it not?

http://www.themoviedistrict.com/the-silence-of-the-lambs-1991/ They actually filmed at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Yup, it was.

Yep. I do, indeed. Did you know there was a whole tv series centered around them. Check out Sleepy Hollow.

Blacksmith21 ago

That Steemit link is amazing. I remember reading it a ways back, but everything seems to make more sense in the context of time.

Vindicator ago

I'm noticing the same effect.

Blacksmith21 ago

Oh yeah, I remember this story now.

"But speculation can last only so long. On the second day, people didn’t want the Mystery; they wanted the Explanation. And that’s what the Reporter was in search of. He left behind the scrum-milling at the cave-in near Dupont Circle and headed across town to find the previous owner of 1512 21st St. NW."
