Excellent test!

Someone speak about it on the old OAG, I watched a longplay and it seems to be interresting.

Happy to read a good professionnal test here.

Sincerelly try Dante's Inferno on PS3 or X360, it is a good action game God of War alike. In hard mode you will have a good challenge. Of course, the pedophiles satanists urinalists does not like it like they have without indecency dilate on the last movie game God of Soy.

I appreciate in the commentaries the few explanations of the Templars history. Your are doing GOD work.

I think that I will try "Knights of the Temple: Kill Sodomites, Sand-niggers, Best ally" on a good old XBOX mod console.

Deus Vult!

I played Dante's Inferno

can't say it was good or bad, it's just... okay

i know a lot of soyfags rated the game low due to it's nudity and disturbing themes, but i actually thought it was pretty appropriate for hell

granted it wasn't an amazing game like return of the king or the original god of war, but eh... i wouldn't say it's bad

it tried to be god of war and added a bunch of horror elements to it (same devs of dead space) but ultimately it felt like a very consolized arcadic masher to me

Knights of the Temple is more Lord of the rings return of the king than god of war (which is a positive in my eyes)

but if you don't mind consolitis and can emulate this game (it's not available for PC which again, consolized design in mind) i'd say go play it.

I remember this game. One of the titles that made me want go Deus Vult already back in the day. But now that I know that the Templars were (((freemasons))) I feel divided about it. Still, it was a good feeling removing the degenerates. When you think about it, how many christian games exist in the mainstream market? It's pretty clear jews don't want them.

fightknightHERO ago

Templars were not freemasons, that's jewish projection like the kike you see here below (Diggernicks)

Templars loaned without interest to Kings and peasants alike, that made a (((certain))) group of money changers very pissed at their existence

so they whispered to a French King that jewing them and taking all their Shekels is the (((right))) thing to Do

and so king burned them under baseless charges of heresy and took all their shekels, thankfully History knows the truth of it all.

while the Templars burned at the Stake, the Knights Hospitallers and Teutonics still existed unto the modern era

infact Hospitallers still operate within Jerusalem, they run hospital for the blind and optically handicapped (in eastern part of Jerusalem)

they also exist in Malta and have a strong presence/reverence there (also in Rodos)

as for Good Christian games, now that would require some definite research but i doubt many exist

esp since we live in a Post WW2 era where anything Christian/gentile is demonized to hell

Karak_ ago

On a slightly positive note. Not all of them were destroyed, many survived and went to other orders like the Hospitallers. The order was actually absolved of guilt by the pope (1308), but the evidence remained (((hidden))) for a long time until an italian paleographer found an authentic copy of the document in question in the early 2000s. The order resurfaced in fairly recent times and, similar to the Teutonic Order, now exist within the catholic church as a purely religious one.

Speaking of the Teutonic Order, I was doing some more digging into their history earlier this year. While the Knights Templar were honour-bound stoics of their time, the Knights of the Teutonic Order was generally a much more straight forward affair.

Like others, they were founded with the purpose of establishing hospitals and protecting pilgrims. Closing in on the time of the 3rd Crusade, the Vatican saw a need for warriors unlike any other to put fear into the enemies of Christendom - and so this order was shaped for that very purpose. As a rule, they never took prisoners and spared noone. They were such a powerful military force in Europe that they were essentially a nation of their own. Resist, get crusaded.

I shared some documents on their history* here previously on the old Disqus - shorturl.at/aopA0 (google drive)

  • Exception being "The Knights of the Cross", while it seems pretty accurate, it is a translation of a historical novel based on the Teutonic Order using 13th to 14th century history of their organization as a backdrop for the story.

Thanks for the reply. Honestly I don't know much about Templars/freemasons. Most things I read were about the Templars tell they were suppressed by the Pope and the King, causing their dissolution, but later on they joined the Freemasons. Your answer threw some light on the object and I will search more trustful sources to learn more. It's a very interesting topic with current times repercussion.

I remember playing a game called The First Templar about 10 years ago and enjoying it, if I remember correctly the MC gets betrayed by a King and hunted have not played it since it came out though.

fightknightHERO ago

Gameplay of that game looks extremely consolized

artystyle is some pozzed dragon age graphics, no where near the quality of KoTT

Karak_ ago

So I've uploaded the games to mediafire for now.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/68ycmskqr1dwcvv/KOTT1.7z/file

http://www.mediafire.com/file/r16a02pcoitl3iv/KOTT2.7z/file

The first game is the old Deviance-release containing 3 CD images, bundled together with a small update for the game and the crack.

The second game is an old rip, just unpack and run it through KOTT2.exe.

Both compressed in .7z format.

Got the original games on disc but I figured the scene releases would be much easier to share since I have them handy as well.

The first game is available on Steam but, as far as I know, that release hasn't been cracked or anything.

I primarily run win10 currently and I've had zero issues playing these games. I'm not actually home at my PC currently but I'll do what I can to help, so regardless, let me know if you run into any issues with the uploads or the games themselves.

Bludvarg ago

Good shit. I got both games downloaded and working, with only minor finagling to get it done. This here seems to be the best way to go.

I'm looking forward to giving these games a go, but I've got a lot of shit on my plate I've got to take care of first.

Bludvarg ago

Looks pretty good; I'll have to give it a go.

Oh, it looks old enough that "pirating" no longer seems to be the correct term...I think it's actually abandonware at this point. Here's a link I found. Looks like the site has the second game as well.

https://www.old-games.com/download/9365/knights-of-the-temple-infernal

(You don't actually have to pay anything. Just look a little further down the page for the free download link.)

I will say, though, that this site's given me shit before. They're really trying to force you to pay for that download...I'm currently at 5.0kb/s, with absolutely no reason why the rate should be so damn low. If anybody's got a spoofed account there to speed things up, let everybody know.

I also tried Abandonia and BestOldGames, but they didn't have it on either of those. You might actually be better off waiting for Quickshooter to update the post...

I heard of this game and have been putting off getting it. You just convinced me to finally play it. Great review!

Super_Hanabi ago

Due to prior interests in the Knights Templar, I actually heard of this game beforehand. I've had it saved on my backlog for awhile. Haven't actually played it yet though, but glad to hear it's as based as it looked.

The game also has a sequel. Did you get a chance to play it too?

fightknightHERO ago

I've looked into the sequel on jewtube and it looks really shit in comparison (made by an entirely different team)

i'm not sure if it's worth

Karak_ ago

The second game is alright. Worth noting that it's not developed by Starbreeze but by a company named Cauldron, now a part of Bohemia Interactive (makers of the Arma games). It has a bit of jank but if you really like the first game you should at the very least try it. You return to take on the role of the templar Paul and it continues with the same themes and a very similar hack 'n' slash, beat 'em up like gameplay.

In addition to soy-brained shamblers (undead), many familiar enemies return. Like decapitation- and impalement worthy heretics, subhuman muhammedans and an assortment of abominations from the very gates of Hell.

Thanks for sharing your take on this game, it's one of my favorites from the early 2000's.

I remember we had a conversation about it and I've recommended it on a few occasions back when OAG still had (((Disqus))).
