I think it is clear that the average Francophobe 'frogs can't fight hurr durr' type's knowledge of military history extends little beyond some Iraq War era freedom fries stereotypes and WW2. It's unquestionably an ignorant perspective and not an endearing thing about everyman American conservatives.
