It's not, they are both moths in the same family, but the Hawks Head Moth from Silence of the Lambs is not the Lime-Hawk Moth on the O'reilly book cover. They are on different continents.
Also the art on the book cover was not chosen nor is it owned by Sphinx. O'reilly is known to use animals as a distinguishing mark for their technical books, they own that image (though it appears on Sphinx's site advertising/endorsing the book).
