It was bad enough in 2011 that PBS upper management got caught with their pants down by Veritas

PBS President Schiller added “I am most disturbed and disappointed by in this country, which is that the educated, so-called elite in this country is too small a percentage of the population so that you have this very large uneducated part of the population that carries these ideas.”
Schiller said in the video, referring to the tea party movement. "They believe in sort of white, middle America, gun-toting — it's scary. They're seriously racist, racist people."

By the way, I don't believe Ron Schiller got fired for saying the above. He got fired for saying zionists control print media. It's a factual statement, but If I had to take a guess it'd be that comment that did it.
