The video could also be titled "boomers, who got everything served on a plate by their parents, were the generation that had it the absolute easiest with jobs, the housing market, having and raising kids, low crime, etc, show that they have no real connection to the difficulties that they left behind them for their kids".

My parents for one. Boomers were the first generation to grow up under complete communist subversive propaganda. Have you had to be drafted for a war in which we were not allowed to win? Have you had to physically fight to survive school? Did you have to start working at 14 just to support the household you grew up in?

I guess it depends on the country, but in the US permits almost always existed. The 50's & 60's wasn't this easy "no government/no rules" time, the first real treason started the moment Hitler was out of the way. Most of my family were machinists, and they had to go to school for it (if you survived being drafted for Vietnam). There was also a lot more competition for it. To start your own business was to dedicate your life to it. Taxes were a thing, permits were a thing, debt was a thing. Lawyers were also. Just because we're rife with red tape, doesn't mean it didn't exist back then. Electricians have always had to qualify every year for the latest safety codes, and a lot of that is actually necessary so your shit doesn't just burn down one day.
