I'm not convinced that he was laughing in that way, some people show weird expressions when they are upset after someone is hurt. It's a common but awkward physical reaction to have a nervous laugh. Not the best optics for sure. What I do find very suspicious is a portion of that press conference where McConaughey points out that his wife is holding shoes found on a victim who supposedly could not have been identified immediately if not for those shoes (implying the body was a bloody mess?) But the shoes look like they've never been worn. Not a speck of dirt or anything.

Unfortunately the news coverage continues on talking about McConaughey maybe running for office, which makes the whole exercise seem like an unsightly opportunistic campaign stumping press conference. Screw the ambulance chasing politicians, stepping over bodies while they push for trying to take guns rights away. Sick Fks

I want to clarify my opinion. It's not that McConaughey's ideas sound bad on their face (raising age for gun buying from 18 to 21), but it's only a camel nose in the tent as far Dems are concerned. They will NEVER stop until no one has gun rights. They have an alternative agenda having to do with disarming the population so they can better control the population. If it was just about stopping school shootings then why aren't these kids flagged and followed up on when they are posting animal torture/cruelty on their social media or saying in 8th grade that they want to shoot and kill school kids when they graduate? Or when parents call and inform the authorities that the kid is dangerous and unstable. Most people are not sociopaths, but a motivated sociopath will find a way to kill. Having the warning signs and doing nothing is on our progressive society and on our leaders who cry when this happens, and all the antigun libtards. They are okay with burning down billions of dollars worth of property for a politcal protest and conservative Americans better just suck it up. Under McCoaughy's idea, Kyle Rittenhouse would be dead or in jail.

Do these pearl clutching opportunists complain about the Chicago gun death rate, nope. They could give a rat's ass about black people killing each other. Do they lay flowers symbolizing the number of drug related deaths to make a point about drugs pouring over the border? pfff hardly. No they want to pass out needles and not hurt the feelings of the victims of addiction. There is far more concern for made up shit like pronoun abuse than any of the social ills in society

The mere fact you have a professional liar talking about this should be your first clue as to just how bullshit it all is.
