Thanks to @antiliberalsociety for alerting me to Yuri Bezmenov
KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov's warning to America - YouTube
In the 80s a KGB defector explained the then current threat to freedom in the US:
Americans doing it to Americans:
1) Demoralization 15 to 50 years
Because of the slow process of ideological subversion via several generations of students taught Marxism who now occupy positions of power, a change in the perception of reality occurs in every American to such an extent that despite an abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their communities and their country.
2) Destabilization 2 to 5 years
These brainwashed subversives have irreversible damage, you cannot change their basic perception until reality knocks on the door in the form of the military boot on their neck. Exposure to true information will not matter any more as they are unable to assess authentic information. They are able to wreak havoc on our essentials: economy, foreign relations and defense.
3) Crisis via violent change leading to "normalization" a cynical term for suppression
Bezmenov says that the solution is to force your government (not petitions) to stop acknowledging the Communists, no money, no grain deals ,etc. Those people who cannot curb their desire for profit by trading with the enemy block our survival chances.
He was referring to the Soviet Union then whose place has been taken over by the CCP and our homegrown 5th column.
Bezmenov died in 1993 age 54: . According to the Windsor Star, he died of a "massive heart attack" attributed, in part, to alcoholism, on Tuesday, January 5, 1993.
