A classic, performed here by Theo Slabbert.
This is quintessential traditional Boeremusiek - if you haven't discovered it yet, you are missing out!

@Thisismyaccount I'm curious to know what your Canadian ears make of this? I have an American friend who loves Boeremusiek.

Ahhh yesssssss. It reminds me of my youth living in small town Manitoba. One of our neighbors was Dutch and he used to play this music on Friday or Saturday nights in the summer. Always had a BBQ going at the same time. His wife was a master at BBQing. I didn't find out till years later I had eaten BBQed mutton and lamb. Thanks for bringing that pleasant memory and my neighbors back. ;)

I liked it... Sounds similar to Swedish "folkmusik".

I have a Swedish friend in real life (married to an American who loves Boeremusiek), will have to ask her about Swedish folk music :-) Thanks for listening.
