I suppose it depends what you mean by concede. Concede what? He pretty much conceded that Biden would be sworn in on the 20th in his comments last week.
I don't think he conceding that he actually thinks Biden was elected President legally, and I'm sure he will continue to press the point that if there had been no fraud, he would have been sworn in for a second term, and is the actual rightful President. Should be an interesting couple years from here.

I think at this point, general mass acceptance has set in, and President Trump will likely become a footnote in history.Thisismyvoatusername wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 12:03 am I suppose it depends what you mean by concede. What I don't understand is the "Trust the Plan" bullshit! We've "Trusted the Plan" into oblivion. At the end of the day, President Trumps four years were nothing more than a wet dream... It was like he existed, but couldn't or wouldn't take on the corruption in Washington. He refused to get his hands dirty. Now we have Africanized (Think Bees) liberal politician's occupying DC, just chomping at the bit to shove it up our collective asses!

I think he'll be a lot more than a footnote in history. There's a good likelihood he has started a new political movement which will either split the Republican Party or drastically change its face and policy positions. I could go into a lot of the results he got with what were considered unorthodox policies but they are all just really subsets of that point.
But, I've really never been a "trust the plan" person. The world is just more complex than that. He had plans, but it was foolish to think any plans were deterministic. I really thought there was a good chance recounts, court battles et cetera would give him the win, but it had become apparent the courts and election officials weren't going to let that happen. Their widespread misfeasance is the most disappointing thing to me in all this. Since the electoral college voted in mid-December, I've pretty much assumed we'd be where we are now.
