Some photos I took in Namibia in 1989 First one is a bunker on the Namibian/Angolan border that that was of SADF origin.
Next 2 photos are of a SWAPO rally I got caught up in.

How long were you there for? It's fucking hot isn't it? Quite a bit hotter than SA.

6 months from April 16 1989-September 16 1989. We arrived in the African fall and stayed till the African spring. Or so we were told. It wasn't really all that hot, but it did get quite cool at night. The locals thought we were crazy walking around in shorts and T-shirts in plus 20 c weather :lol:. We took our trip to Victoria Falls in the middle of July and it quite a bit warmer in Zimbabwe.

That photo of the SADF helicopters I took was at the end of April by the way. They are French made SA-330 Puma's and Allouette 3's at that airfield.
