On the one hand, it would have been pretty shitty for the normal people in SA to suffer destroyed infrastructure (more destroyed than usual).
On the other hand, it sure as hell would have been great to teach those fucking nationlists a lesson in how it feels to live in Africa proper. Who do they think they are? Living in an African country but with power, roads, sewerage and what not. No, mr Afrikaaner, it's time to face the facts: you live in Africa and should have to live like our ancestors have been living for hundreds and thousands of years: in absolute, total poverty and dirt. Illiterate and unable to plan for the future.
If you don't keep the racist, nationlist Afrikaaners in check then they'll soon be wanting to live in peace and quiet, and we can't have that. Not anymore. Now you live in democratic Africa, mr van der Merwe.
