Where else in the world do you need a private armed security firm to escort you into your own house?

Ammo must be expensive as hell down there.CognitiveDissident5 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:47 am https://businesstech.co.za/news/motorin ... ould-know/
It's not the price of the ammo that's the problem, but rather the kaffer Chief of police and pal of Soros who funds Gun Free South Africa. First they changed the law to make it so your gun license is only valid for 5 years and you have to re-apply every 5 years, it used to be valid for life. Then they made it so you are only allowed a small ammount of ammo in your possession (they can turn up at your house unannounced to check), now they're going to make it so self defence is no longer a valid reason to apply for a gun license!antiliberalsociety wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 2:03 pmAmmo must be expensive as hell down there.CognitiveDissident5 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:47 am https://businesstech.co.za/news/motorin ... ould-know/

You have to apply under either 1) self defence, 2) hunter 3) competitive shooter. If number 2, you must prove you hunt regularly, you need a reference from a game farm owner, receipts to show you paid to hunt there, etc. And you technically can't use your hunting gun for self defence.
Also a husband and wife who both own guns must have separate safes and may not have keys to one another's safes. And you are no longer allowed to reload your own ammo like we did in the old days. It was a fixed thing on a Sunday, I would go round to my Boer neighbour and we would spend the afternoon reloading.
