Poal thoughts
What do you guys think about poal?
I haven't really given it a chance. The UI is similar enough to voat that it's weirdly frustrating trying to use the site.
From my limited experience seems to be a lot of border line commies on there. Where did the initial userbase come from? Why did they leave voat.
Just curious. Grateful they exist and welcome us/ seem to fully embrace freedom to have your say

Re: Poal thoughts
POAL is a retirement home for wayward Reddit users who got tired of playing in that zoo! Their slogan is "SAY WHAT YOU WANT", but that comes at a very heavy price! In my short few days there, I called them out for not knowing what the common industry standard usage of the downvote button was! I went from having a +80 reputation to -130, and lost my ability to UP or Down vote! That's blatant and wanton Censorship! I've heard rumors that @PuttItOut is involved with POAL, but I've not heard him make a statement one way or the other here. I suspect that any self-respecting former VOAT user wouldn't last long in the restrictive and suffocating atmosphere at POAL. The place reeked of "Comfort Blanket"! Once SearchVoat (The forum) gets some standing in the internet community, POAL users will flock here.
Re: Poal thoughts
Personally saw the post on voat from putt saying he owned poal, but don't believe it.
I tried poal out a couple of years back and ended up leaving. Pros are that the site owners engage with users. One of them I believe is native american. Not sure how the voat crowd reconciles that fact with their convictions. The cons are that behaviour one might seem unacceptable is deemed free speech until that same behaviour is directed at the site owners, upon which the culprit is banned.

Atko was a Muslim migrant, or at least a migrant born muslim. Living in Sweden. Never seemed to bother anyone that bad for some reason.
Well seems to be a consensus going on this thread that poal is trash. Wish we would have known that before basically everyone was ushered over there. It's an angsty place..

Re: Poal thoughts
AOU bans me from using my POAL account
* https://files.catbox.moe/1x51xe.PNG (Notice the sub bar was the subs i owned)
He moved a post of mine from v/whatever. I deleted it and posted it again. He then nukes my account and i am auto logged out from all devices. attempts to log in are met with "username invalid". I use an account that never votes, to confront him about this. I was able to log into and out and back in with no issues like with my main. He denies nuking the account, (labled flag and no score) even tho its clear to see. He blames the issue on a DDOS attack which it could be.
Instead of addressing the issues he just denies and insults. When i beat him as his dumb game he then resorts to deleting my account because he knew i was right in my question.
* Nukes account over moved memes
* when confronted he denies it and then deletes my account.

The moved meme in question.

Was my game of deleting my own submission and resubmitting it to /whatever worth nuking the account? Asking about it worth deletion? I haven't experienced moderation abuse like this since Crensch was on reddit.
Update: Hes forced me out of my account but kept my content. He erased all arguments about this, his behavior and erased all accusations and evidence.
Hes taking the time to white wash any thread mentioning this. He forgot i few so i grabbed pics. He kept my content but made it seem like this issue never came up. Serious reddit tier shit over some moved memes.
Now deleting subs that mention it or have mentioned it

Re: Poal thoughts
I made my thoughts known on voat everytime someone suggested it as an alternative. People may end up drifting here of their own accord.Chiefpacman wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 12:00 am > One of them I believe is native american. Not sure how the voat crowd reconciles that fact with their convictions.

Re: Poal thoughts
I read through the 7 comments on this thread at this time.
I've been hammering POAL QStorm with posts. I haven't had any real issues other than a couple of shitposting shills that threatened me personally. I don't shitpost, I treat anons with respect, I will debate posts/comments that I disagree with. So far it has been pretty good on POAL from my perspective. There are more non-Q anons on QStorm than I remember seeing on VOAT/v/GreatAwakening, and that's okay. If they have good arguments they should be heard.

Re: Poal thoughts
I like to dance while I peruse Poal, because then I can call myself a Poal dancer.
