Regaining taste and smell

I came across this video which show a simple technique for 'rebooting' one's olfactory nerve and taste buds (they specify cause as Covid related). I have never lost either ability (to taste or smell) but maybe someone will find this useful, whether to try or to pass along the info. At any rate it was fascinating that people were claiming to have regained ability to taste or smell after trying the 'flick on the back of the head' technique. There's no studies supporting it as far as I know.
