Once people flock here it's going to be an issue. It would be good planning to figure something out now before hand.

I don't need funds at the moment. If SVF gets really active then we will need DDOS mitigation and more powerful hardware, and I'll look into that in due course.

I could use some suggestions about how to manage donations. I have some crypto wallets:

This brings up a good question. How much does searchvoat cost? Putt was saying it was costing up upwards of 10K a month to run Voat, which I find that REALLY hard to believe. I just worked on a year long project to cut my companies AWS bill and we have services that are orders of magnitude larger than Voat and at half the price.

Do you want to stay anonymous? Then crypto is better than paypal and patreon. There are bitcoin payment gateway providers for donations like https://bitpay.com/non-profit

Indeed, feasibly something like Equinix Metal (previously packet) can get a lot of server resources up for relatively cheap. Or get off of AWS and manage infra a bit more with others like Digital Ocean. Don't use Vultr, they're a bag of dicks who don't let you use the resources. DO at least lets you abuse the resources you've rented from them.
