I guarantee you that those spikes were put there by white people who just couldn't help themselves but oppress the poor kaffers who were just trying to fix some social imbalances in society.
Luckily, the intelligent, resourceful kaffer figured out how to avoid the white trickery, and is now less oppressed than before.
