I'm really not interested in reading drivel written by pedos and surely I'm not the only one.

I haven't looked into yet but there is a "friends and foes" section in your profile. I think if you say someone's a "foe" it does some kind of blocking. Please experiment! and if you can be bothered, report back.

You're correct, @SearchVoat. Adding a "foe" is effectively identical to how blocking on Voat worked; Automatically hides posts from the blocked person (presumably PMs too), with the option to view if you choose to.

I found the function. It hides their posts and comments but doesn't stop them sending you PMs from what I can tell.

Thanks! Still finding my way around as you can probably tell.

Let's test. I've just added you as a "foe" temporarily, try to send me a PM and shoot a reply quoting this comment here when it's done. (Assuming I get neither a PM nor a notification of your quote, I'll refresh in a couple of minutes to check).

Yep, I got a notification for it and the PM went through. As @SearchVoat mentioned though, you can set up a rule for private messages from "foes" here: ucp.php?i=ucp_pm&mode=options

If:
  • Sender
  • is foe
  • Place into folder <folder name> | Mark as read | Mark message | Delete message
