Time to go back physical dictionaries. I have one and a thesaurus from the 1960s which I value due to this Orwellian move. Probably worth buying secondhand dictionaires and old encyclopedias so to a record of pre woke knowledge.

I have dictionaries from the 60's and 70's which I treasure. Especially my old English-Afrikaans dictionary which belonged to my late mother.

I'm a professional translator so i have ALOT of dictionaries. The Afrikaans-English-Afrikaans one gives the definition of holocaust as burnt offering/sacrifice.

The Afrikaans word for promise pretty much means promise - but the definition given for promisee in Afrikaans translates back into English as: receiver (of a promise); creditor
