I think poal is a good alternative

Poal.co seems stable enough. the userbase is welcoming of all goats. i have not seen any censorship so far. the site is easy to use.
The rules about voting are a bit different most goats might be used to. Downvote is essentially reporting spam. It is strictly enforced. But some might remember, that on voat, the downvoat was suposed to be for spam and irrelevent comments.

Game to try Poal out...Getting tiring all this travel though Reddit-Voat- and now here. Does fragment the community, but grateful to have an alternative. Welcome to all Voat friends and Merry Christmas.

I've seen browser issues with poal and I'm not a huge fan of the downvote etiquette there. Basically it's a sign of micromanaging and powertripping. "Here's a feature but don't use it"

On voat we had to earn submission points before downvoting, not sure if it's the same on Poal

Yes, that downvote thing is a problem, their etiquette, that is. We're not used to being so polite, it's more a PC thing, if you ask me.

You won't - as long as you keep your head down and don't question or challenge "their" definition of Free Speech.

There was something with Poals layout that has been bothering me since I started checking it out and I finally figured out what it was. The name of the subverse is where the title of the post should be and the title is where the subverse should be.
