This is the idea of the NWO; a world religion, based on the mysteries (new age, theosophy, gnosticism, kabbalah, freemasonry, etc.) which is secular humanism; man is part of the divine, and his own intellect can be raised to be in communion with God; immanent in the rest of the universe; a sort of pantheism. That is why you'll see stuff like the promotion of the love for Mother Nature.

This is achieved through ecumenism, interfaith dialogue, the destruction of existing religions, the promotion of secular humanism, agnosticism and alternative spiritualities, universalism, perennialism, etc. All religions united based on the idea that they are all aspects of a single, divine truth. We all worship the same god, nature is divine, man is divine.

Luciferianism states that mankind was held prisoner in the garden of Eden by an unjust and vindictive, false god. Lucifer, the lightbringer, an angel of light associated to the true god, took the form of the snake and brough the light of intellect to humanity; gave them the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, by means of which they shall become "as gods". An equivalent of this is Prometheus giving humanity the gift of fire which he stole from the gods.
