I don’t hear anyone making the case that it’s only the catholics at all, but rather that the papacy holds the central authority of the power of the beast system which has overtaken most if not all of the churches as well as most or all of the other religions and secular institutions. This is clearly the function of the ecumenical movement, the purpose of which is to bring all groups and institutions together under the authority of the papacy.

It seems to me that Southern Israelite’s ‘neo-Dreyfus affair’ theory doesn’t deny the highly visible actions of the ‘triple parentheses’ but seeks to draw meaningful conclusions about the processes and actors involved, in the light of history and scripture, in order to try to ascertain the details of the processes taking place and the power structure controlling them.
