Argentinian senator says no rights in a pandemic.

When the government of province of Formosa was accused of human rights violations by locking up people for days when suspected of having COVID, senator Mayans said:
El derecho vos lo tenés, pero no en pandemia. Es claro el Código Penal, que no podés andar contagiando a la gente. Esto es un aislamiento preventivo, son diez días o catorce días hasta que tengan un hisopado negativo. Es para proteger”
You do have the right, but not in a pandemic. The Penal Code is clear, you cannot go around infecting people. This is preventive isolating, it's ten days or fourteen days until they get a negative swab result. It's meant to protect.

And the sheeple don't stop to wonder why all these draconian controls are necessary for a virus with a 99.9% survival rate.
