Guise, my emergency alerts disappeared

From my iPhone. They were there last time I checked (maybe a month ago?). Gone now. I checked because Anon on another board reported auto update on his Samsung disabled his presidential alerts (but left others intact).
I have auto updates disabled and haven’t updated since before China virus (due to muh contact tracing). Fuckers can access anytime.

You do realize that’s meaningless, right? Turn your fucking updates on. You’re missing security fixes. You’re using a device with a GPS chip and Wi-Fi and cell triangulation. There are no contract tracing bullshit systems in the first place.

People were reporting contact tracing with auto updates last April. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I keep WiFi turned off. Only use have GPS on when using an app that needs it but I suppose it’s still active.

You haven’t actually addressed the disappearance of the alerts, only posted criticism of my choices. So fuck off.

I’m sure it’s true. There’s nothing you can do to stop it, since you’re being tracked no matter what you do anyway.
