Couldn't sleep last night. Ended up making a voat clone

Ok guys. Things are pretty much set up. I plan to launch tomorrow or Friday. Please note, I am on a cheap test server. I have no idea how much traffic this thing will generate and if the server will handle it. So the initial launch will be an alpha test. Expect problems. Might need to upgrade or change hosts but things will stable out eventually.

The rules of the sites are simple

1. No posting of illegal content.
2. No doxing members of the site
3. No spamming
4. No stealing people's old voat usernames.
5. Owners of old subs on voat have priority for ownership for subs on this new site. Anyone can create anything unregistered, but if the sub existed on voat and the old owner can prove they are infact the old owner, they get ownership of the sub. Thanks to Serchvoat forums, confirmation shouldn't be too difficult.

That's all I can think of for now.

For the initial launch and some time after, there will not be any subbing to subverses. The way it works currently is the front page is bascially /all. You can only own 5 subverses (was there a limit on voat?)

Who owns voat at this point is a mystery. I consider the name abandoned.. but I set the site up in a way where it would be easy to transition away from the it if anything like that were to happen. You'll see what I mean when the site goes live.

Was this AOU? I remember something about him accusing Ven of doxxing. It was good advice in any case. What a shitshow it turned out to be.
