I could use some gold too. I am looking at spots in very rural Pennsylvania.

I bought alot of silver, 1kg bars. I kind of regret it now because it's fallen in value. Should've bought gold instead. I have some, but very little compared to how much silver I'm stuck with. As a friend said, I could put a 1kg bar in a sock and smack someone over the head...if the need arises. So there's that.

Rip, if all else fails you can use your silver to sanitize things like water and milk, supposedly, I've never done it myself.

It's like the stock market, it goes up and down. It'll go back up in time. I'd hold onto it and invest in gold as well. Even land goes down in value, mine dropped considerably yet the demand is higher than ever. I looked for more and the market dried up.

A house I bought has doubled in value in 10 years. No choice but to hold onto the silver, the resale value is pathetic, I'd lose 50% of what I paid. I love my silver Kruger Rands, don't care about the value (and my gold), but the 1kg bars of silver were a "miskoop", that's the Dutch and Afrikaans word. Can't remember the English word.
