One of my retirement dreams is to buy a boat on the E. Coast and do the Great Loop. Or maybe ship my boat from the W. Coast and do it. Not sure which would be more feasible.

My folks had a '45 foot Island Packet, did the whole from FL thing, up the E.Coast, St. Lawrence, right in to Duluth. And back. They've since sold it and got a more manageable vessel for their golden years. Good times.
