Anything goes.

What happens to the lottery money if no one claims it?

Post by randumb »

If the prize goes unclaimed by the deadline, according to the Mega Millions website, “each participating state in the Mega Millions game will get back all the money that state contributed to the unclaimed jackpot.” States set their own priorities on how they spend that unclaimed prize money.

The only good thing about lottery or online state controlled and administered sports gambling is that it’s a heavily weighted tax on the poor. Maybe that’s the real strategy behind those efforts?

Do you play the lottery?

Heard on a recent local podcast that a Waffle House waitress said she doesn’t play the lottery until the pot gets over $100 million....

The lottery is a scam. The money goes to people in the club we're not in.

Money collecting and laundering.

Let's put it this way. You sell tickets for your lottery at 2 dollars a piece. You keep one dollar and put the other in the pot. If the pot reaches 50 million, that means you made 50 million dollars yourself. And all you have to do is pick the winning numbers before you sell and make sure no tickets have that combination of numbers. No one wins, the pot goes up and you make more money.

But they allow you to pick your own numbers. That's easily solved. Have, say 50 combinations that change with each draw. These number combinations are never allowed on random number tickets and the chance people will randomly pick all 50 combinations is so miniscule it's basically impossible. Each pick your own numbers ticket is recorded and you just put up one of the ones they didn't pick as the winning numbers. It won't be on the random numbers and it won't be on the pick your own. Even if they do somehow pick all 50 combinations, you just have a ringer buy a ticket, put the winning numbers on it,and they split the pot,so you get some of the money back. More ringers means the "winner" gets less and less.

And when you decide to dump the pot,you get a ringer to buy a ticket with the winning numbers and he gets the pot, which he then gives back to you, keeping a nice payment for his trouble. It's ok,he's one of (((us))). He'll put it to ((((good use))).

Long story short, you're not going to win.

Here's a video of the florida lottery. It's old and grainy but legit. It shows the guy drawing the numbers. He gets to the 4th number and draws 35. He quickly flicks it away and draws another number. 53. Strange how the numbers are reversed no? In my eyes this is proof it's rigged. The florida lottery never answered to this.

Epstein won it twice I heard. That is all I needed to know about the lottery.
