Do these petitions actually do any good? I'm pretty sure politicians know this whole covid thing is a hoax; In fact: one of them famously called it political theatre. Why would they stop if you asked them nicely? They obviously don't care about you.

I think one of the most useful aspects of these petitions is making this clear to everyone. The hypocrisy of the whole media/political scam and the low moral character of all involved.
