Poal was created by some ex-goats when Voat was in trouble a couple of years back. It is effectively a Voat clone. There has been some debate on Voat about the extent to which Poal is truly "free speech".

The log in on my mobile device went out at Poal after I had been on site for about a week for "vote gaming," where after I have been unable to register a new iPhone account since, this time the PC account was arbitrarily terminated while efforts the create a new account are met with the message '"Error #3: Invalid Captcha!"

Yeah. If your account was ban or shadowban, it will display that error message. The original error message was "Invalid characters in the username" for such account. But AOU changed it to "Invalid Captcha" after it was called out. I forgot where it was discussed, but you can bet that he lurked outside of poal.
