Proposed $2,000 Trump Checks: a confusing detail

My understanding was Pooh-losi was declaring the House, on Mon Dec 28, would take up a vote on a $2,000 Trump Check (NYP) separate from the $600B omnibus (it's still, yet again, not a budget bill).

But this (Breitbart, Sat Dec 26) seems to state that they're only sweetening the poisoned omnibus with extra sugar: $2,000 Trump Check. That it's not a separate bill.

So Trump will veto and they’ll all go crazy blaming him for not supporting us.

The Post is dancing around it,but it's the same bill. The $2,000 checks are part of the omnibus. Even if they were separate bills,Pelosi could simply refuse to vote on the check bill until Trump passed the omnibus bill and still do the same thing.

He just signed it, supposedly with instructions to Congress to strike 230 and pork from it. Odd law.
