Archive Culture

Post by InvincibleWinter »

One day I realized that so much stuff has been made that if all I did was skim the absolute highlights, I would have more books and music etcetera than I could look at in my entire life.

Then, I realized a non retarded society would've already had those highlights prepared and waiting for their children generations ago.

That's when I started archiving. Now I obsessively curate an offline archive of all the useful info I can find, and always sift for quality. I always keep 3 duplicates on 3 different machines, and some of the absolute most important stuff in hardcopy.

I think it's shameful that modern informational culture doesn't just do this automatically. Every individual and family should do it, but instead they trust strangers and enemies to just benevolently give them info and entertainment with no ulterior motive. Then, a few years later, they wonder why their son is trans, why their daughter has onlyfans at 16, and why both of them spend their free time rioting for BLM.

For me this ended up being about so much more than just not wasting my time on shit entertainment. Getting the wicked and their ideas out of our homes was always as simple as declining enemy info sources (TV/news/movies/radio music/most of the internet/most books) and replacing it with personal and family archives. Nobody put a gun to our heads and forced Us to import stupid outsider ideas into our homes. A home full of outsider ideas is just a home with a weak man in it who doesn't have the will to rule.

I have great respect for those who do the archiving tasks in the background... It is so easy to nuke everything online nowadays. No one knows for sure, even archive sites might disappear.
