Post by iSnark »

viewtopic.php?t=14053

I posted the linked post above yesterday, and it's gotten 146 views, Help me understand this. The volume here is at a trickle, yet, 146 "members" upvoated my post... what gives? something look odd here... If 146 are able to view that message why are there more posters here? What voodoo is at play here? @SearchVoat??? Private Message me if you would rather....

v/ClownWorld is a "public" sub - the whole internet can view it. Many of those 146 are probably search bots.

There are 3 flags that restrict forums so they can only be read by registered members: Nudity, Gore, Free Speech. You can see which forums are flagged on the front page as forumsuperscripts.

Hmm now that most of our mods are gone perhaps everything should be flagged Free Speech... but then casual browsers can't see any posts at all... hmm...

I wasn't really calling for changes or action on your part, I was really just trying to wrap my mind around the numbers, and in hindsight, I think one of the posters here said something similar, But, I didn't understand what they meant. Thanks for solving the mystery...

It's the little video box, at the end.

I'll take a free speech tag on v/Archive. Reason - I wanna mess with @MadWorld. Asshole!
I also think v/VoatHistory and v/Confessions should have free speech tags. Reasons - Pissed at @Savesequim and @MadWorld. Assholes!
And v/GreatAwakening should have the gore tag. Reason - Gore.

Make the ears taller and the coat darker. That would be the face of the feral kitty who adopted us. I see that face, every morning, telling me it's time to eat. He's a good kitty, brings me lots of 'gifts'.

I grew up a dog person, never had a cat myself. I had a roommate right after I graduated from college, and he brought a kitten that was about 5 to 7 months old into the apartment, and it was neat, I would sometimes wake-up with the cat looking down at me... It was very playful. Still consider myself pretty much exclusively a dog person though...
