What the hell, as if they need yet another reason to micro-examine every facet of every decision, every transaction (even before you make one!) and receipt of your existence! More obnoxious personal data mining, this time you voluntarily hand it over (so they won't have to sneak it or admit that they already have been). What a scam. Wrong on so many levels I'm too tired to expound on atm.
