Vanessa Beeley was in Donbas over the last couple of days observing the referendum process. For her trouble she is now on a new “hit list” of foreign journalists who observed the “sham referendum”.

Following the publication of the hit list, Vanessa received a number of direct threats to her life on Twitter. And then, later in the afternoon yesterday, the following letter came to light from MEP and member of Macron's political party, Nathalie Loiseau:
