I took this photo on the same flight that I took the photo of Kee Bird. We were flying through the valley coming into the station. You can see the glacier as we fly past.

I remember reading about an ice base they built during WWII, but the glacier kept moving and the tunnels wouldn't line up. They were also considering making an aircraft carrier out of an iceberg.
